BARR - Mr. George Edward Barr of Fort Steele passed away at his home in Fort Steele on November 26th, 1978 at the age of 78 years. Mr. Barr is survived by his loving wife Isabella of Fort Steele, one son Donald of Kimberley, one daughter Isabella (Mrs. A. Tuck) of Hillcrest, Alberta, five brothers and two sisters. Also surviving are seven grandchildren. Funeral Services for the late Mr. Barr will be held from McPherson Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, November 29th, 1978 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Edward Millin officiating. Interment will follow at the Fort Steele Cemetery. No flowers by family request. Friends wishing to remember Mr. Barr may donate to the East Kootenay Shriners' Cripple Children's Fund through McPherson Funeral Service, 2200 - 2nd Street South, Cranbrook. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to McPherson Funeral Service Ltd.
