Marjorie was the daughter of Margaret M. Buchan and Robert Edwin Seibert. Her mother was born in Iowa. Robert Edwin Seibert was born in Indiana but relocated with his parents and siblings to Chariton, Lucas County, Iowa.

After their marriage, the Seiberts relocated to Washington state where Marjorie Dee Seibert and her two sisters were born.

According to Maruice's draft registration, they resided at 2015 Federal Avenue in Seattle. Following in the footsteps of family, Maurice worked for Broughton Lumber Company (Willard, Washington). His father, "Harvey" Davis, and uncle, Brisbon Napoleon Longinus Davis, had prospered in the lumber industry during the earliest years of Skagit County.

Marjorie's mother, Margaret, died March 8, 1954, at Fort Steilacoom, Pierce County, Washington. According to Washington State Death Records, Margaret Buchan Seibert was the daughter of Alexander Buchan and Mary Dee.

Marjorie passed one year later (1955) at the age of 61 years, 7 months, 5 days. Her husband, Maurice, survived her by a number of years until passing in 1970. They are buried at Lake View Cemetery in Seattle.
