Mrs. Newstrom, a well-known resident of New Eagle, was born in Sweden, March 18, 1875, and came to this country when she was about 25 years of age.
She is survived by three sons: Paul, New Eagle, Roy, New Eagle, and Carl, Jeannette; one sister, Mrs. Hans Patterson, New Eagle; two brothers, Louis Anderson, New Eagle, Mandus Anderson, Smithton; and four grandchildren.
She was a member of the Daughters of Pocohontas and the Pythian Sisters.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late home, Main street, New Eagle, with the Rev. James R. Beamer, pastor of Grace Lutheran church, officiating. Burial will take place in the Monongahela cemetery.
