She was born September 9, 1898 in the town of Germania, the daughter of the late Charles and Amelia (Malzahn) Foth.
On November 3, 1915Lucy was united in marriage toGeorge Schroeder in the town of Germania. He preceded her in death on November 26, 1964.
Survivors includefive sons, Louis (Elise), Pontiac, IL, John (Elaine), Cameron, WI, Joseph, Willow Springs, IL, Thomas, Evanston, IL and Ralph (Evelyn) Wilmette, IL;five daughters, Joan (Elmer) Bulgrin, Appleton; Mary (Norman) Young, Shawano, Estelle Heimbruch, Shawano, Edith (Clifford) Johnson, Rockford, IL and Esther Boreen, Wittenberg;three brothers, Erdmund Foth, Wittenberg, Alfred Foth, Appleton and Kurt Foth, Oceano, CA;two sisters, Lily Treff, Chicago and Mildred Myrick, Winfield, KS; and many grand, great and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Lucy was preceded in death bythree daughters, Alma, Ethel and Frances,one son, Harold,five sisters andnine brothers, including Herbert, Albert and Frank.
Funeral services were held January 18, 1990 at the Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School, Wittenberg. Mr. Archie Holcomb and Mr. John Wilhoit officiated. Interment was in Forest Home Cemetery, Wittenberg.
