He was an avid Philadelphia Flyers fan and was a Civil War Reenactor. He was the beloved son of Gerald M. Madden and the late Ann Madden (nee: McLaughlin), the dear brother of Gerald T. Madden and James M. Madden and his wife Noreen, the adored nephew of Rev. Msgr. Thomas G. Madden and the late Rev. John J. Madden.
