Leonard W. Patnode, 81, of Valehaven Adult Home in Malone and formerly of the Spencer Road in Burke, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002, at Fletcher Allen Health Care Center in Burlington, Vt. He was born in Chateaugay, N.Y., on June 30, 1920, the son of Nelson and Josephine (Jarvis) Patnode. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, in Chateaugay Funeral Home, with Rev. Fay Ager of St. Patrick?s Church officiating.
