Mr Richard B Goldrick, 79, a resident of Hyannis, died Friday at Milton Hospital after a short illness. He was the husband of the late Rita (Sheehy) Goldrick. Born in Taunton, Mr. Goldrick was educated in the Taunton school system and at Bristol County Agricultural High School. He was a retired lineman for the Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant. He also served as a marine carpenter for Hyannis and Falmouth marinas. Mr. Goldrick served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church in Hyannis, and a member of the Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts in Hyannis. He enjoyed furniture restoring and woodworking. He is survived by a daughter, Colleen Kinney-Green of Milton; a sister, Veronica McMahon of Taunton; a brother, Edward Goldrick of Taunton; a grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church in Taunton. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton. Visiting hours are 5 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton. Memorial donations may be sent to the Remembrance Fund of Milton Hospital, Highland Street, Milton, MA 02186.
