"Adam Lamm was born in Reading and lived here all his life. He is 52 years of age and spent three years in the military service. For 37 years he has been in charge of the battery plant at the P & R Shops. He is a Past Master in Lodge 62 F.and A.M., the city's oldest Masonic institution. He is also a member of the Maccabees, the O.I. of A., the P&R Relief, Zion Reformed Church, and the Craftsman Club in Philadelphia.
Besides his wife, Mary Jane (Kupp), he is survived by four children: Ruth, wife of Donald R. Shelton; Violet, wife of Harold Jackson, of Detroit, and Frank, at home, and George, of this city. Three brothers, Edwin, David, and William and two sisters, Evan, wife of Harry Wanner, and Ella, wife of Fred Carpenter, of Port Royal."
