The Rev. Denis Sellen, 88 of Milwaukee, Wis., died of cancer Nov. 8 at Deaconess Hospital in Milwaukee. He was a brother of Leo Sellen of Carroll and had visited here frequently. Funeral services were held Monday at St. Francis of Assis Church, Milwaukee, with burial in St. Lawrence Seminary Mount Calvary, Wis. Fr. Sellen, a Capuchin priest resided for the past 35 years at St. Francis Friary and for the last 18 years served as full time priest confessor at St Francis. He served three terms of three years each as superior of St. Francis and a three-year term on the governing council of the Midwest Capuchins. Surviving are three sister; and four brothers.
