Born in 1930, Walter Jessup was from Elmira. He served in the United States Navy for many years and served in Vietnam.

He was a sweet and honorable man with a loving family, including two children, three siblings and several grandchildren.

On December 9th, 2010, Walter went to Heaven to be reunited with his beloved wife, Patricia, who passed away in early 2006 after a brief battle with lung cancer. He also became reunited with his parents Francis and Minnie Jessup, as well as his brother Harold and his grandchildren Elizabeth and Peter Crans.

His hobbies included golfing and fishing; he also had a passion for model trains.

Rest in eternal peace.
