In 1952, she married her Navy sweetheart, Walter Jessup. The couple had one daughter, Pamela, and one son, Robert, and later on she had several grandchildren who she loved dearly.
She was diagnosed with lung cancer in the summer of 2005 and after a courageous battle, she went home to Jesus in January of 2006.
She worked as a secretary for the US Navy for nearly 20 years. Her hobbies included cooking, sewing, baking, reading and writing.
