WESTMONT — MORRELL – Dr. Roger W., 64, Westmont, died April 3, 2012, at his residence. Born Oct. 22, 1947, in Johnstown, son of the late Veto and Rose (Catania) Morrell. Also preceded in death by father-in-law, E. Boyd "Bud" Callihan. Survived by loving wife of 42 years, Marilyn (Callihan); sons, Christopher M. (Kathleen Irwin), Johnstown; and Jonathon R. (Lisa Hrescak), Johnstown; and grandchildren, Maddison, Macey, Mallory, Kate and Jack. Brother of Kathy (George Tighe), Johnstown. Also survived by mother-in-law, Mary (Don Mangus), Johnstown. Brother–in–law of Glen, Gary and Fred Callihan and Peggy Johnson. A 1969 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and received a medical degree from Des Moines University. He practiced obstetrics and gynecology in Johnstown and Windber for 34 years. Board certified in OB-GYN and Fellow of American College of OB-GYN. Former medical staff president at Lee Hospital and UPMC, Lee Campus. Member of Sunnehanna Country Club. Roger was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, who will be greatly missed. At Roger's request, there will be no public viewing. Private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, the Rev. Jack Rupert, officiating. Private entombment at Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum.
