Excerpt--Thomas Hugh Hudgins, Jr., 58, of Kingwood, died June 2, 2009, at his home. He was born April 16, 1951, in Philippi, a son of the late Thomas H. & Rosemary (Schaeffer) Hudgins. He was a 1969 graduate of Kingwood High School, and a 1973 graduate of Fairmont State College. He was a Social Studies teacher in Preston County from 1974-2006. He is survived by a son, Thomas H. Hdgins, III of Kingwood; a daughter, Heidi Beth Hudgins of Morgantown; a sister, Christie Rose Hudgins of Glen Burnie, Md.; a grandson, Thomas H. Hudgins, IV; his former wife, Penny Toothman of Kingwood; and an aunt, Barbara Schaeffer Gnegy of Washington, Pa. Interment in Maplewood Cemetery.
