Alvis Paul Anderson 73, of Sunman, Indiana, passed away Friday February 11, 2011 at Ripley Crossing Nursing Home in Milan, Indiana.

He was born May 8, 1937 in Pulaski County, Kentucky to Trumia and Naomi (Smith) Anderson. He is married to Alma Ellison who survives.

Paul was a retired machinst who was employed with the Hamilton Foundry and served as Pastor of The Freewill Baptist Church in Negangard Corner, IN.

Survivors include his wife Alma, Daughter- Paulene Knapp of Milan, IN, Sons- Greg Anderson of Guilford, IN, Bill Anderson of Indianapolis, IN, Jason Anderson of Sunman, IN, 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren, Sisters- Shirley Sutton and Mary Simpson both living in Pulaski County, KY.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Daughter- Teresa Elza, Sister- Laura Singleton, Brothers- Arlie, Rue and Elvis Anderson.

Visitation will be Tuesday February 15, 2011, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, IN 47041. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, February 16 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home, where Jerry Palmer will officiate. Burial will take place in Little Memory Cemetery, Sunman, IN.
