Elisabeth May Ackman, 33, a resident of Ricohoc passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 at Tulane Medical Center.

Elisabeth was born on February 12, 1980 in Houma the daughter of Rufus and Elaine Lombas Ackman.

Elisabeth enjoyed going fishing as well as going to the movies. She loved to dance and also loved anything to do with butterflies, dolphins, or the New Orleans Saints. Of all the things she did in her life her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family especially her two sons.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her parents, Rufus and Elaine Lombas Ackman of Ricohoc; two sons, Dylan and Gabe Blanchard of Patterson; one brother, Scott Ackman of Ricohoc; one sister, Tracey Eliot of Ricohoc; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Elisabeth was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dalton Ackman Sr. and Gladys Aucoin Ackman, Gilbert Lombas and Emily Mae Morgan Lombas.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2014 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Elisabeth will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
