Lloyd L. DuBois, age 93 years 9 months 2 days, passed away on January 24, 2014 at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo. Lloyd was born on April 22, 1920 to Deane DuBois and Irene (Baumgarten) DuBois in the Town of Winfield in Sauk County, Wisconsin.

He graduated from Baraboo High School in 1940 and studied engineering at the UW Platteville for 2 years before entering the US Army in 1942. Lloyd was a Sergeant in the 13th Armored Tank Division and served until 1945.

Lloyd was united in marriage with Miss Eleanor Starr on June 4, 1949.

After his service in the Army, he became a partner in W.R. DuBois and Sons Road Construction, where he spent his career working in the family business with his 2 brothers until his retirement in 1981.

Lloyd was an avid fisherman and hunter throughout his life. He and Eleanor enjoyed their time fishing and the company of family and friends at their vacation homes in Northern Minnesota and Palmetto, Florida.

Lloyd was involved in many community organizations such as the Elks Club, Shriners, Masonic Lodge, Moose Club and American Legion.

Lloyd is survived by:

…a nephew,
……Jeffrey Judson (Lorie) of Pasadena, California;
…2 nieces,
