Robert Brad Sparks 58, of Logan, NM passed away after a short illness January, 26, 2014 at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, TX.
Brad was born February 18, 1955 in Hobbs, New Mexico to B.E. "Sparky" and Mayve Jo (Campbell) Sparks. He married Eugena Aylesworth April 14, 1978 in Clovis, NM. Brad retired in 2011 after 34 years working with SPS.
Brad was very active on community projects. He was a member of "Friends of Ute Lake State Park and Logan Gun Club and was past president of both Organizations. He was a Life Member of NRA.
Brad is survived by his wife, Eugena, one son, Michael, his father, B.E. "Sparky" Sparks, one brother, Brent and several cousins.
Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Logan, NM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Baptist Children's Home 2200 S Ave I Portales, NM 88130. Cremation has taken place.
