Phyllis C. Haught Age 87, of Malvern, died Monday, January 27, 2014 in Community Care Center in Alliance.

She was born October 11, 1926 in Madison, Kansas to William and Josie (Mayfield) Dougherty.

She was the co-owner of Dan's Pizza with her husband Jack for many years, was a 1944 graduate of Antioch High School and a former member of the Minerva Eagles Auxiliary Aerie #2199. She was also a member of the Malvern First Christian Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Haught who died Oct. 4, 2008; a daughter, Janet Haught; a son, Ed Haught; and a sister Ruth Hogue.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Sharon White of Minerva, Kathy Jo (Eric) Eddy of Minerva; 5 sons, Richard Haught of Dayton, Larry (Betty) Haught of Minerva, Clyde Haught of Canton, David (Polly) Haught of Minerva, Steve (Brenda) Haught of Minerva; a daughter-in-law, Cathy Haught of Minerva; 20 grandchildren; 22 Great grandchildren; and 3 great-great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating.

Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Alliance Visiting Nurse and Hospice Assoc.
