Velma Leota Waldrop Frye 92 of Fair Play, was born June 28, 1929 to Noah and Ella (Dyster) Waldrop in Lenexa, Kansas, passed away Saturday June 4th 2022 in Bolivar.
She had four brothers Howard, Leroy, Paul, and David all preceded her in death.
Velma married Ray Thomas "Tom" Frye in 1945. They loved each other 68 years, to this union two sons were born Ray 'Skeeter" and Richard "Rick" Five grandchildren, Tammy, Laura, Eric, Aaron and Whitney, 15 Great Grandchildren and 10 Great great- grandchildren. Two sisters-in-law Dixie and Anita and nieces and nephews.
Velma excepted Christ as a young mother and belonged to the Fair Play Baptist Church.
They moved to Stockton, Bear Creek and Fair Play area in 1990
She was preceded in death by her husband Ray, Skeeter and her brothers.
Services are Wednesday June 8th at 1:00 PM in the Fair Play Baptist Church with burial ion Lindley Prairie Cemetery
