Obituary:
John Jones, 53, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at 2:15 o’clock Monday morning at his home at 3702 South Webster Street. He had been employed in the General Electric Works Shipping Department for 32 years. Born in Adams County, he had resided here 32 years. He was a member of Fort Wayne Lodge No 200, Loyal Order of Moose.
Survivors include the widow, Minnie; two daughters, Miss Martha Jones of this city and Mrs. Esther Aichele of Indianapolis; three brothers, Ira and Clyde of Pleasant Mills and Charles Jones of this city; a sister, Mrs. A. S. Ayers of this city; and his mother, Mrs. Etta Jones of Pleasant Mills.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 2 pm at the residence and burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
