John L. Albright Sr., 87, passed away at 9:10 a.m., Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at Miller's Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born on November 23, 1926 in Logansport, he was the son of the late George L. and Wynetta "Hazel" (Grove) Albright.

John was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a former member of VFW Post #3790, and the Logansport Eagles.

He was a WWII Army Veteran.

Survivors include sons; John Albright Jr., and Dennis Albright, both of Logansport, grandchildren, Tasha Seward (Jason) and Josh Albright all of Logansport and great grandson, Jaden Seward. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Donald, Carl, Leonard, Robert and Chester Albright and sisters, Margaret Altrip, Helen Bowen, Maxine Lind, and Mary Gaines.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday, February 3, 2014 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel

Graveside Services with military rites will be performed at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 3, 2014 at Mt. Hope Cemetery Chapel.
