Francis "Frank" Joseph Reichmann was born in 1863 in Clayton County, Iowa, the son of Ferdinand Reichmann (1838-1900) and Wilhelmina Lambert, also called Amelia, (1844-1895). Ferdinand Reichman was the son of Franz Joseph Reichmann, born in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany in 1806. In 1929, Franz married Maria Helfer in Baden. She died in 1848. In 1851, Franz left Germany with at least 5 of his sons. Arriving in New York in Sept 1851, are: Franz born 1806; T. born 1833 son; C. T. born 1834 son; F. born 1838 son; A. born 1840 son; and L. born 1842 son. They all went to Iowa after arriving in New York.

In 1900, Frank and Anna are still in Iowa, but soon after, they came to Everett, where he died in 1903. They had three children in their short time together: Linden Nicholas, Francis Jr. , and Regina born 1903 or 1904, about the time Frank died.
