Mrs. Susie Grace Noel, 65, died at Trigg County Hospital this morning following a long illness.
A member of the Canton Baptist Church, she was born July 13, 1906, in Trigg County, the daughter of the late Norman and Lucy Colley Osburn. She was married Aug. 14, 1926, to Hazel E. Noel, Sr., who survives.
Services will be at 4pm Sunday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. Julian Etheridge and the Rev. Omar Jenkins officiating, and burial in East End Cemetery.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Hodge of Grand Chain, Ill., and Hazel E. Noel, Jr., Albuquerque, N.M.; three daughters, Mrs. Frank Cross, Hopkinsville, Mrs. James Brooks, Ft. Bragg, NC., and Mrs. Happy Allen, Cadiz; two brothers, Clarence Osburn, Augusta, Ga., and Thomas Osburn, Paducah; three sisters, Mrs. Wilie Taylor, Paducah, Mrs. Jimmie Whitaker, Paducah, and Mrs. Mary Auromay, Houston, Tex.; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Leon Clark, Jimmie Whitaker, Donald Barnett, Johnny Cashon, Darrell Clark, and Mike Cheek.
