Route 4 resident Michael Dale Black, 29, died suddenly early Sunday afternoon.
A member of Mt. Leo Church of Christ and native of this county, he was employed by Carrier at Morrison.
Married to the former Jill Medley, he was a son of the late Herman and Minnie Black.
Besides his widow, he is survived by a son and daughter, Michael Lee and Jenna Renee Black.
He is also survived by eight brothers and four sisters, Benny, John, William, Gary, Freddie, David and Richard Black, all of Morrison, Roger Black of Atlanta, Lucille Hudson and Peggy Earls of McMinnville, Shirley Starkey of Smartt Station, and Betty Griffith of Smithville.
Oscar Groves conducted the funeral services in Love-Cantrell & Cope Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Morrison Cemetery.
