Alma went on and married twice more to-Charles Woods, and George H. Remme, and she gave her sons a "new" last name, which is carried on to their descendants today.

John Schwan is buried in an unmarked grave next to his father, Jacob Schwan. This is in the old secion of the cemetery. Deed dated 1893.
