Mrs. Ora Edna Aaron, 81, of Sparta, Ill., died Nov. 16, 1988 at Sparta Community Hospital. Born April 6, 1907 in Mississippi, she was the daughter of John and Nancy Brewer.
She is survived by seven sons, Loyce, Virgil and Jimmy Aaron, all of Coulterville, Ill., Ules Aaron of Steeleville, Ill., Hobert Aaron of New Palestine, Ill., Hubert Aaron of Sparta, Ill., and Billy Aaron of Bristol, Wis.; Three daughters, Mrs. Venie May Downey of Marissa, Ill., Mrs. Faye Glass of Planto, Texas and Mrs. Deen Adair of Spata Ill.; Three brothers, Otis Brewer of Fulton, Miss., J.V. Brewer of Vina, Ala., and John Brewer of Red Bay, Ala.; Thirty-one grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 32 step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Jessie Aaron.
Services were Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. at Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home chapel in Hayti, the Rev. Paul Quinn officiating, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ray Grissom, Virgil and Danny Aaron, Eddie Moore, Steve Grissom and Carl Wayne Downey.
