Norman Levi Ratliff, age 66, of Sandy Hook, Ky., passed away Thursday morning January 30, 2014 at the V.A Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia.
Mr. Ratliff was born April 14, 1947, in Ashland, Ky., a son of the late Clarence and Nevelle Blevins Ratliff.
Norman was a Christian and had worked as a Construction Operator. He served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Sarah Alice Wilburn.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Lisa Means Ratliff of Sandy Hook, Ky., one son, John Schewe and Lisa of Cincinatti, OH., two very special grandchildren, Gracie Leigh Schewe and Bailey Quinn Schewe both at home. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, family members and friends who will sadly mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m Sunday, February 2, 2014, in the Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Gary Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in the Elliott County Memory Gardens. Military rites will be conducted by the Elliott County VFW Post #11428
