POOLER - Mary Edna Mims Rentz Pyles, 87, of Pooler, passed away peacefully on Saturday at her residence. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lewis L. Rentz; second husband, Keith L. Pyles; parents Emitt and Maude Stone Mims; son, Lamar Rentz; one brother, two sisters. She was born and raised in Hazlehurst and has lived in the Savannah area most of her adult life. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors: Beloved daughter, Pat Bland; granddaughter, Donna Bland; great-grandson, Brandon Bland all of Pooler, one brother, Daniel Mims of Hazlehurst; one sister, Maurece Stein of Atlanta; also three additional grandchildren and three great-grandchildren Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home with Rev. Alfred Banks Officiating, with burial in Daniel Siding Cemetery. Fairhaven Funeral Home & Crematory.
