Funeral of Alfred Bowman
Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the Plummer funeral parlors at 16 Pleasant Street for Alfred Bowman of Augusta, who was killed in an accident last Friday afternoon on the Weeks Mills road. The Reverend E. J. Webber of Hallowell officiated. The services were attended by officers and men from the National Guard, Co. F 103rd Infantry of which the late Mr. Bowman was a member. At the grave Co, F administered the military rites of burial. Surviving him are his mother Mrs. Edith Bowman of Augusta, five brothers, Edwin and Lawrence of Augusta, Llewellyn of Hallowell, Rev. Harry Bowman and Richard Bowman of Phillips: two sisters Mrs. Marian Haskell of Weeks Mills and Mrs. Harrington of Vassalboro: and several nieces and nephews.
