Thomas, born circa 1832, was the husband of Elizabeth Jane (nee Morgan) Knowles (she born circa 1836), whom he wed in Sussex Co., DE in 1854. They each were from, and resided throughout their lives in, the Blades-Woodland area of Broad Creek Hundred, Sussex County. Thomas was a farmer.

The couple had several children, named Rebecca J., Thomas J., Arzilla C., Jacob W., Francis A., Charlotte L., Eba A., Ola E., and Willard S.

No marked grave is known or believed to survive anywhere for Thomas. It is not known when he died, other than that it was, apparently, sometime 1880-1900.
