John D. Huffman, 76, of Ninevah, died at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 1964, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg, after a brief illness.
He was born June 27, 1888, in Ninevah, a son of the late Joseph and Nancy Reese Huffman.
He was a member of the Ninevah Methodist Church and lived in Ninevah and Waynesburg all his life.
In 1953 he retired after many years with the Manufacturers Light and Heat Company.
Surviving are his wife, Theo Bane Huffman; three sons, John D. Huffman Jr., of Cleveand, Victor Hufffman, of Cleveland, and Samuel Huffman, of Harrisburg; two daughters, Nancy Ruth, wife of John Hopkins, of Ninevah, and Elizaeth Perry, of Erie; and seven grandchildren.
One brother and two sisters are deceased.
