Pauline Eva Cousins was born on Sept 29, 1922 in Milo, Maine, to Guy and Alice Fudge Cousins. On April 19, 1938, she married John Schweitzer in Firesteel, SD. They made their home in TL until the 1970's, lived in Wyoming and Iowa, and returned in 1985 where she lived until moving to Pierre in 2002.

Pauline enjoyed crocheting, circle awards, playing the mandolin, violin, piano, organ and accordion. A favorite pastime had been dancing with her husband.

She is survived by Children: John (Pat)Schweitzer of Splendora, TX; Mary (Bill) Regynski of Pierre, SD; Dorothy Herrell of Ava, MO; David (Gloria) of Pierre; Frank (Linda) of Boise, ID;Paulette (John) of Webster, SD; Tim (Barb) of Augusta, KN with many grand, great grand, and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents: Guy Cousins, Jergen and Alice Olson; husband John; son Larry; grandsons Larry and Devon; sister Blanche Reum; brothers Dick Cousins and Herb Cousins.
