JERRY EUGENE BEASLEY
Jerry Eugene Beasley of Texarkana, TX passed away peacefully at his home, on February 1, 2014. He was born in Texarkana, AR.,on September 20, 1945.

He was a graduate of, Arkansas High School, Texarkana, Arkansas and East Texas State University at Commerce, TX.

A beloved and devoted husband, father and grandfather, who loved The Lord and was always there to help others, he started his career as a fireman and became one of the first paramedic professionals for the City of Texarkana, TX Fire Department. Because of his love and passion for others, he became a registered nurse where he worked at Wadley Regional Medical Center, Medical ICU. He later went on to hold healthcare positions in management for both Heritage Plaza Retirement and Texarkana Nursing Centers, where he later retired.

Throughout his life, he loved and was devoted to his wife of 38 years, Debbie Henson Beasley, and is survived by three children, Allison Nixon, Jacob Beasley and Katy Nicole Beasley; five grandchildren, Raine, Willow and Cove Nixon, J.C. and Case Daniel.

He is survived by his sister, Pat Thompson and husband Jack C. Thompson, of Dallas, TX; and brother, H.L. Beasley and wife Louise Beasley of, Euless, TX.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy L. and Mabel E. Beasley.

A visitation will take place from 6:00-7:30 P.M. Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Texarkana Funeral Home, 3515 Texas Blvd., Texarkana, TX 75503.

A private inurnment will take place at Sylverino Cemetery.
