George W. Montgomery
George W. Montgomery, 21, of Quaker City Route 1 (Antrim) died at 12:09 p.m. Saturday at Bethesda Hospital as the result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident on June 23.
Born Dec. 19, 1957 in Guernsey County, he was the son of George H. and Elizabeth Lodge Montgomery of Antrim.
He was a 1976 graduate of Madison High School, a member of the Antrim United Presbyterian Church and a trustee of the church. He was a Modern Woodman and was employed as a coal miner by the Saginaw Mining Company of St. Clairsville.
Surviving in addition to his parents, are a brother, Marty of Antrim; three sisters, Mrs. Charles (Joanne) Baird of Salesville Route 1, Mrs. William (Cindy) Shaffer of Cambridge and Mis Juanita Kay Montgomery of the home; grandparents, Mrs. Florence Lodge of Winterset and Mr. and Mrs. Fred R. Montgomery of Freeport Route 3.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the Thorn Funeral Home where the service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. David Barclay officiating. Burial will be in the Antrim United Presbyterian Cemetery.
