Airman 1st Class Peter Robin "Pete" Terry was born on 1 August 1957 in Houston, Texas, to Sgt James Owen "J.O." Terry and his wife, Laura Agnes Bihn, the youngest of three brothers. As a young man, he served in the US Air Force. Pete was a free spirit. He died, 21 July 1997, two weeks before his 40th birthday, at his parents's home in Missouri City, Texas; his remains were interred at Houston National Cemetery.
