Surviving are a daughter, Miss Arbutus Bailey; three sons, Freeman and *Herbert, at home, and *Harley, of Putney; a sister, Mrs. Ella Stone, Kanawha City; her mother, Mrs. Martha Asbury Kay of North Charleston; six brothers, Edgar, Luther, Arnold, Howard, *Carl and Henry Asbury, all of Charleston.

Short services were held last night at the home of Mrs. Martha Asbury Kay of North Charleston for her daughter, Mrs. Mattie Bailey, 50, who died at her home at Cedar Grove. Additional rites will be held at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church today. The body will be at the church an hour before the services. Burial will be in Ward Cemetery.
