Ms. Heithcock was born in Williamson County to the late Johnny and Essie Newcome. She attended Hillsboro Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by husband, James Ennice Heithcock; son, Morris Heithcock; sisters, Elizabeth Brown and Margaret Martin. She is survived by sons, Wayne Heithcock of Franklin, Tim (Sandra) Heithcock of Maid Stone, Calif., and David (Bonnie) Heithcock of Lebanon; daughters, Janice (Archie) Buttrey of Thompson's Station, Edna Buttrey of Spring Hill, and Kathy (Glen) Beard of Franklin; brother, John (Norma) Newcome of Franklin; 19 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
Services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006 with Jerry Wolverton officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Heithcock's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
