Frank Grubert Services Slated
Frank E. Grubert, 85, formerly of 331 Village Drive, died yesterday at a local nursing home.
A native of Germany, Mr. Grubert was a resident of the Syracuse area 82 years. He was a member of the Eastwood Baptist Church and its Men’s Club.
Mr. Grubert was a veteran of World War I. He was a former member of the American Legion.
He was employed 20 years as manager of the Syracuse Land Development Corp.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Harriet Grubert; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Mitchell of Collamer and Mrs. Richard Stitt of Whitesboro; a sister, Mrs. Samuel D. Scott; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Goddard and Crandall Funeral Home 3111 James St., the Rev. Ronald Vallett officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Eastwood Baptist Church memorial fund.
