Lodian Succumbs In Local Hospital
Earl E. Brinson, 81, of 118 S. Fairmont Ave., died early Thursday in a local hospital following an illness.
A native of Idaho, he was born in Idaho Falls when it was named Eagle Rock. The son of pioneer parents he was the youngest of nine children of which one sister survives.
He grew up there and worked with his father in a blacksmith shop. He came to the Lodi area in 1920 and worked in blacksmith shops prior to opening his own shop on N. Sacramento Street in the 1930s. He retired in 1957
He is survived by his wife, Hazel of Lodi; one daughter, Mrs. Bessie I. Dunn of Walnut Creek and his sister, Mrs. Maude Locks of Portland, Ore.
