Tillie was born to Floyd M. Walker and Patricia Ann Armstrong Walker in Brinkley, Monroe County, Arkansas April 16, 1955. She lost her mother a short time later. It shaped her life.

She was fun loving and outgoing. She loved to bowl and simply drive that car. She married while still in high school to her sweetheart, Bill and they had a little girl together.

One of the ways to get a giggle with her was when she was mad, just start singing "Waltzing Matilda".

Her sudden death in a car accident on Hiway 38 just outside of Cabot rocked her family to the core. She had her sister, Margaret and her two children in the car. There were injuries from which they fully recovered.

Her father mentioned to her widowed husband at the funeral that he knew what Bill was about to experience, having lost his only wife while trying to raise their kids in the 1950s. It was oh, so many years earlier while Tillie was still a toddler.

Bill stayed extremely close to the Walker family as most of them have now passed. Tillie had three sisters, Ivie Mae, Margaret, Minnie, and a brother Floyd Walker, Jr.

The family cemetery is located a mile off of pavement on a gravel road in farm country near Patterson, Woodruff County, Arkansas.

She now has grandchildren.
