Bob was drafted into the Army at age 18 and returned home at the end of World War II four days before his 21st birthday. He took part in the invasion of D-Day landing on Utah Beach, and the Battle of the Bulge which he received three purple hearts and two bronze stars.
Bob and his brother James (deceased) were involved in farming in the valley and Roll, Arizona. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, son and a daughter.
Services will be held on Feb. 8
