Funeral service for Aaron Horace Casteel, 61, of Moulton will be Saturday, February 8, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Crossroads Fellowship Church in Decatur with Anthony Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Methodist Cemetery in Cullman. The body will be at the church two hours prior to the service. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Parkway Funeral Home.

Mr. Casteel, who died Thursday, February 6, 2014, at his residence, was born August 3, 1952, in Decatur to Horace and Marcine Casteel. Aaron was a loving husband, father, son, brother and paw paw. He was a preacher of the gospel for 35-plus years and retired after 30 years of service from General Motors. He graduated from Austin High School in 1970. He and his wife, Nancy, celebrated 42 year of marriage. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Anita Burch-Casteel.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Karen Garrison Casteel; two sons, Aaron Shane Casteel and Nathaneal Travis Casteel; two daughters, Sheli Angela Casteel-Potter and Crystal Dawn Casteel; daughters-in-law, Nicole Casteel and Tonya Casteel; son-in-law, Richard Potter; one brother, Maythion Casteel; one sister, Tina Henderson; and five grandchildren, Christopher Lee Reavis, Isaac Shane Casteel, Jacob Trey Casteel, Ella Grace Casteel and Noah Andrew Casteel.

Pallbearers will be Jerome Casteel, Kenneth Throneberry, Ray Milligan Jr., Zackary Garrison, Richard Potter and David Garrison.
