He was born February 18, 1939 in Morehead, KY to Everett and Norsie (Goodman) Burton.
He was a retired pipe layer in heavy construction. He was a member of Mount Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church.
He is survived by four sons, Edward (Angela) of Galena, Darrel Cook of Columbus, Terry Cook of Salyersville, KY., Kenneth (Dawn) Justice of Coshocton; his first love and mate, Rosetta; three grandchildren, Olivia, Kris and Bell; one sister, Eva Sturdevant of Dallas and one brother, Fred of GA.
He was preceded in death by 12 siblings.
Visitation will be Monday from 1 to 2pm followed by a funeral service at 2pm at Robinson Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Griffith officiating.
Burial will be in Marlborough Cemetery.
