Funeral services were held November 11 in Highlands for Miss Mae Brett, a former Rockdale resident and member of a pioneer Rockdale family.
While in Rockdale Miss Brett was a milliner. Later she moved to North Louisiana. At the time of her death she resided with her brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Brett.
Miss Brett was preceded in death by her parents, both of whom are buried in the Old City Cemetery, and her brother, Tom. She is survived by her brother Willis Brett and family and three nieces.
