Lorenea Binion Cummings, 88, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, February 10, 2014, in Oaklawn Cemetery, 720 S. Camellia Blvd. in Fort Valley, with Rev. Mac Goddard officiating. Family will greet friends from 5:00PM to 7:00PM on Sunday, February 9, 2014, at Rooks Funeral Home, 213 West Church Street in Fort Valley. Born in Taylor County to the late Jesse Binion and Agnes O'Berry Binion, Mrs. Cummings had been employed at Blue Bird Body Company and worked as an LPN. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Frank Cummings; children, Mary Ann Peterman (Millard) of Fort Valley, Jo Hickson (Ed) of Fletcher, NC, Rebecca Derry of Palm Harbor, FL, Lonnie Wainwright of Roberta, Clarence Wainwright of Butler, and Edwin Cummings (Jean) of Dublin; 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son, Henry Earl Wainwright, and a brother, Jesse Earl "Buddy" Binion. Rooks Funeral Home in Fort Valley is in charge of arrangements
