Excerpt -- Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie E. Falkenstine, 48, wife of Councilman W. Harvey Falkenstine, were conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Highland Park M. E. Church. Mrs. Falkenstine died Friday morning at her home, 455 Morgan Street, in Morgantown, after a long illness. She was a daughter of the late Hadley and Melissa Street Smith and was a native of Preston County. She and her husband were residents of Terra Alta for several years. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren of Wiles Hill. Surviving in addition to her husband, are five sons, Gerald, Willard, "Buddy", Lawrence and Milford Falkenstine, and two brothers, Wilbert L. Smith of Bruceton and Lawrence F. Smith, of Terra Alta.
