Anna Catharine was married to Thomas Linden (born 1837 in Mutschied, Rheinland, Prussia) in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on 16 Apr 1865. They moved to Oak Township, Mills County, Iowa, shortly after where their children were born. Thomas died sometime between 1882 and 1890, by which time the family was living in Pierre, Hughes County, South Dakota. The original Riverside Cemetery in Pierre flooded when the river overflowed, and the coffins were moved to the present cemetery. Unfortunately, most of these have no markers nor are there records for the original cemetery.
