Ed was a member of Assembly of God and was an active sponsor of Saint Jude Children Home. He enjoyed working, bowling, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and the National Rifle Association. He spent his professional career working in the oilfield, he began his career with Midland Supply Company of Seminole, OK for ten years as a field technician; he was an independent consultant for an international supply company for two years; after which he opened Hydrostatic Engineers in January 1965. After a brief period of retirement he re-entered the professional arena to work as a consultant for Testers Inc. He was an innovator in hydrostatic pressure testing; setting the standards now recognized by the industry. His efforts and ingenuity have greatly benefited the oilfield operations.
Ed is preceded in death by his parent's Henry Hailey and Helen Hailey Roulston and brothers Charles D. Hailey and Joe Roulston Jr.
Ed is survived by his wife Johnnie of the home; two daughters Patty Hallmark of Moore, OK and Judy Hailey of Texas; two grandchildren Melissa Crabtree and Todd Hallmark of Oklahoma City, OK; one Great Granddaughter Savannah H. Hallmark of Oklahoma City, OK; two brothers Herbert E Hailey of Del City, OK and Jay Roulston; one sister Loretta Cole of Asher, OK and his many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous friends and colleagues.
