BEGLEY, E.Y. age 88, of Trenton, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at his residence. He was born September 12, 1925 in Hazard, KY to Roe and Nancy (Jones) Begley. He served our country during WWII in the US Army with an honorable discharge. He was a die setter for General Motors for 37 years, retiring in 1986. Quarter horses were his passion. He raised and showed them. He also loved to fish and hunt. E.Y. is survived by his children, Carl (Linda) Begley of Trenton, Brenda (Thomas) Horest of Hamilton, Cheryl (Scott Nicely) Manning, Linda Wesseler, Carrie (John) Ferguson all of Trenton; grandchildren, Terry Begley, Karla Lynch, Brian Chalk, Bridget Centers, Lonny and Troy Blevins, E. Y. Lawson, Casey Ferguson; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Doll Isaac of Fairfield. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Doris (Young) Begley in 1998; brother, Jessie Begley; sister, Pauline Sims. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 12:00-2:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
