WOODRUFF, SC-- Martha Jean Gwinn Cooper, 78, of 610 Briarcliff Drive, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Ruth Waddle Gwinn and the widow of Joseph Franklin "Joe" Cooper. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church and was retired secretary with Gwinn Lumber Co. formerly in Woodruff. Surviving are one son, Mike Cooper of Woodruff; one sister, Brenda Gwinn Bright of Woodruff; one brother, Kenneth "Ken" Gwinn of Woodruff; one niece, Julie Ruth Bright of Boiling Springs; and one nephew, Kenneth Mark Gwinn of Woodruff. Graveside services will be conducted today, Friday, April 12, 2013, at 3:00 P.M. at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens by Rev. Fred Quidley. Visitation will follow the service at graveside.
